This is a programmable robotic dragon that is designed to utilize LEGO’s Boost system. The LEGO Boost app which debuted in 2017 can turn any new or existing LEGO kit into a motorized or motion-sensitive toy, complete with sounds and voices. What could be more cool than a fully functional dragon toy?
How it Works
Using the Boost app, your child can program this futuristic dragon to walk, roar, move its head, and even missile launchers in its mouth from which darts can be ejected. Other blocks of code will make it so that if a mini figure is placed on the dragon’s back, the color sensor is able to detect which mini figure is seated there. If you were to take the black robed ninja and seat it on top of the dragon, it will cause the dragon to perform a special set of motions. By placing ninja with the blue robe on the dragon, it will perform a completely different set of motions. So cool!

The Lego Ninjago Stormbringer is designed for children as young as seven years old on up to adult. The programming will take place through the app.

Petting Stormbringer elicits a response. When it detects a voice, it will answer questions and even fire missiles.
