LEGO Kessel Run Millennium Falcon
The newest Star Wars Prequel film is called Solo: A Star Wars Story. This story takes us back to the early adventures of a young Han Solo was a young man and his early adventures with his Wookie partner in crime, Chewbacca and of course his beloved space ship, Millennium Falcon.
This is the Millennium Falcon, all brand new and pristine, far different looking than the ravaged ship that we became accustomed to in the original Star Wars saga.
The last Millennium Falcon set was the biggest LEGO set ever released, with a staggering 7,541 pieces in total. That set was also pricey. This newest set has a lot fewer pieces, just 1,414 and is much more affordable.
Fans have all heard Han Solo boasting about the Kessel Run, a hyperspace smugglers route, in earlier Star Wars films. He claimed to have made the run in less than 12 parsecs.
This set comes with 6 mini figures, including of course, the young Han Solo and Chewbacca who looks a little different than the familiar older Chewie from the later films. You will also find two new characters from the movie, Q’ra and Quay Tolsite.
Next we have the original owner of the Millennium Falcon, the popular Lando Calrissian. The other figures include a Kessel droid and a DD-BD droid.
As with previous LEGO Millennium Falcon sets, this Kessel Run version this one can easily be opened up with its flip-up panels to see the interior and importantly the cockpit which seats two mini figures. The ship also is outfitted with spring-loaded shooters, sensor dish, ramp, rotating top and bottom laser turrets that seat two gunners.

The easy access interior features such details as a cargo area, bunk and bar for the guys to relax in and of course, the iconic Debark hologram table, missile storage compartment, and a buildable hyperdrive complete with tools in case repairs are needed.
Once again, LEGO proves that it has their finger on the pulse of the consumer and has produced a must-have building set with The Millennium Falcon. It would be a wonderful addition to any Star Wars collection.
