Lego Minifigure Series 18: Party, was released on April 1, to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Lego mini figures. Being the major Lego fan I am, I just had to check it out. Is the Lego Minifigures Series 18: Party everything I expected it to be? Keep reading…
Well, there are even more mini figures to collect in this series, there are a total of 17 in all. This includes one extremely rare mini figure, so finding all 17 figures might a challenge.
Introducing the all 17 Minifigures
Birthday Cake Guy – This guy is wearing a nice blue tuxedo set off by a yellow bow tie. Little bit of icing splattered on his torso, bit of a messy eater I’d say or maybe it’s because is sitting inside a birthday cake!
Spider Suit Boy – He is wearing a black spider suit costume, but his most interesting feature is the fact that his face is two sided. His stark white face looks half scared, probably because he is holding a giant spider.
Birthday Party Boy – Cute little smiling figure wearing a blue polka dot shirt, black shorts. and green framed glasses.
Cowboy Costume Guy – This figure is wearing a cool western vest with printing on each side. His brown legs match the color of his horse and he has a cheesy smile on his face.
Flowerpot Girl – She has a green torso and vines printed down the middle. Her legs are brown, but she sits in a flowerpot so you can’t really see them. She peeks out of a pink flower petal piece that surrounds her head.
Race Car Guy – This guy has on a blue and white racing suit. There’s a fast looking race car that goes on his waist.
Dragon Suit Guy – This guy is in an eye-catching fiery red dragon suit with black scales. It even includes a wing piece to put on his back.
Birthday Party Girl – This is a young girl that is celebrating her Birthday. She’s wearing a white blouse with a nice lavender colored bow around her torso.
Firework Guy – When this guy’s costume is put on, he looks like a firecracker. All over the costume, there’s some star printing and the word “Bang” printed on the front. Pretty neat.
Party Clown – What’s a party without a clown? This one is wearing colorful attire. His torso is printed in orange and purple and his legs are lime green. He comes complete with balloon animals.
Lego Brick Suit Girl – This happy looking girl is wearing a 2×3 brick suit on her legs. You can connect Lego bricks to the back.
Lego Brick Suit Guy – This guy looks very much like the girl. Maybe they are twins?
Classic Police Officer – He looks very friendly. His uniform is black with white buttons and has his badge printed on it.
Unicorn Guy – This guy is light blue in color and has some star printing on the front of his torso. He has a unicorn horn on top of his head and carries a sword and shield.
Cat Costume Girl – Not a very friendly expression on this feline. She s black with white paws and has an aqua fish as an accessory.
Cactus Girl – As you would expect, a girl that is dressed up as a prickly cactus.
Elephant Girl – This little girl comes to the party dressed up as a gray elephant complete with trunk and giant ears and wearing a pink tutu. She is looks terrified, as most elephants are, of the brown mouse that comes as an accessory.
Conclusion
I think this is a fun new collection and believe each and every one of them is worth collecting. If you’re a LEGO fan, you’re going to want to look for this set in the store.
