If you are unfamiliar with the animated series, it revolves around Vampirina “Vee” Hauntley who has moved from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. She opens a B&B named the Scare B&B for visiting ghouls, ghosts and vampires. These cartoons have become extremely popular and have resulted in a huge related toy franchise.
Maybe might think a series about a vampire would be a little scary for preschoolers. It isn’t really due to all the cute and friendly characters and that sing catchy songs in each episode.
Okay, now let’s explore the Disney Junior Vampirina Rock N’ Jam Touring Van
This cool looking purple and pink van can be converted into a stage so that Vampirina can perform songs with her favorite band ‘The Ghoul Girls’. The set includes two play figures, Vampirina Vee Hauntley and her best friend Poppy Peepleson. There is also a little figure of Vampirina’s baby cousin, Nosy.
There are a lot of great features that come with this van. We liked the light up rising platform because Vee can stand on it and greet the crowd on in true rock star fashion. The Vampirina character is a good likeness and kids will love playing with their favorite pop star. The van also plays Vamperina’s phrases that kids will recognize from the show. There are other fun features including a driver’s seat that doubles up as a sofa, bunk beds, a cute bat and spiral stairs.
This is a nice play set for kids who love the Vampirina TV show. It will most likely provide hours of entertainment. The set is going to be reasonably priced for the number of features you get. It won’t be available until this fall though, so check out some of the other Just Play Vampirina toys if you are looking for a toy now.
We think that this set has plenty of play value because your kids can sing along and play with this while watching the cartoon.
